  1. DIG BABY DIG! Hopefully the trends continue and it could become a nice storm for a lot of the central and and western areas of NC, VA
  2. I am trying to upload a clown map but it isnt letting me.. any-who it shoes 6-8 inches for a lot of Triad/Triangle areas with good ratios. Temps in 20s..
  3. GFS just went boom for Central and ENC... trying not to believe it... but it did trend to Euro type solution
  4. GFS is trending towards the EURO.. (shocker) Sending the energy and trough more to the SW
  5. Well the Canadian tries with is suppression city along with the GFS for day 7/8 Looks to be below average again for 3 days at least
  6. It seems to be all setting up an Atlanta vs New England rematch to me..I think Atl will beat Philly.. The pats will roll the Titans or bills then play Pitt at home.
  7. OP EURO looks pretty dang cold days 7 through 10...Not quite as cold as it has been but below average again..
  8. The EURO just doesnt have the precip coming in quick enough Monday morning, it starts to come in over the mtns as snow and sleet mix then the next wave holds off until it warms up. Still close to something better for wintry weather lovers
  9. This winter has been more interesting than the last 2 IMO even if we torch in a few weeks. CFS painted a below normal JAN its last couple of runs and the EPS doesnt look too awful in the long range, There was always going to be a thaw after these temps.
  10. Dang man, I thought you got something last month when we got 5 inches in Southside. South Boston got a dusting to 1/2 inch down to Hyco lake then bending back to Reidsville and GSO last night but we didnt even see a flake to my knowledge.. Sharp edge. I think this this next threat could be some sleet/snow to start if the precip starts early enough.. Even EURO hints at this but doesnt really move in moisture until it has warmed up. Something to watch.
  11. QPF looks pretty good. Generally .5 to .7 for most, possible more.. especially upstate and WNC
  12. EURO shows pretty nasty icing, especially NWNC and VA.. More than nuisance level for sure and its trending better.. We will see... The bomb heading up the East coast could help act as a 50/50 low and keep our cold air entrenched longer.. Probably why models are showing further south solutions
  13. God I wish I was back in Norfolk for this one. 6 to 12 looks easy possibly many more
  14. I got 7 inches in that storm.. still a good one. New SREF out yet?
  15. For better or worse, it isnt the same without him
  16. It may take a while for this pattern to "reload" looking at long range
  17. Getting pretty close to Danville now if it keeps trending West but I think we are still 50-75 miles from getting an inch or 2
  18. Clemsons offense looks like a middle schools vs Bama..
