  1. Yea I'm thinking about 28 here tonight. Its already 31.
  2. I'm glad we are getting this brief cooldown because it may be weeks before we get frost or freeze again
  3. We ended up with over 4 inches of rain. The Catawba reached its highest level of 2020 at 11.6 feet making it 10th place on all time crests since the gage was installed in the 80s.
  4. Flash flooding is beginning here, luckily the rain is almost over. We have 3.7 so far.
  5. We are over 5 inches already for this month despite the dry spells. I don't think we get to 10 again but it may be close...
  6. Thats wild. Thursday will be interesting for sure
  7. Just when I think we are going to truly dry out for the first time all year, another 2-4 inches seem likely from a tropical system...
  8. 38 here, didn't see any frost but could have been some
  9. I eclipsed 10 inches again for September after .65 over the past few days.
  10. October and November are usually 2 of the driest months. Hopefully that will be the case this year. It is a bit early but it just feels that way since we haven't had a bona-fide fall in years. I remember frost here being quite common in early October.
  11. Its going to come through but it's still going to rain an inch or 2 most likely. I dont see many 30s on any of the models but im sure some of the higher elevations will get there. Doubt it's a widespread frost though the way it looks modeled
  12. The mountains took the brunt on today's run.
  13. The big trough on the Euro is too far west and we get smoked with rain next week from multiple lows riding the front.
  14. On my way to 10 inches of rain again for the second month in a row. 61 and off and on showers
  15. 38 near Marion. Think there was a little frost on metal surfaces
  16. Yep, top 5 wettest here since the 80s.... I need 1.8" to surpass 10 for the month.
  17. I think I will break 10 inches again if the rain later this week materializes. 20+ inches of rain in 2 months is crazy
  18. I'm at 43 here by the Catawba at midnight
  19. Yea it was pretty close for some. They had me at 2.2 or something like that but we had around 4.
  20. Despite what the radar looks like we are getting moderate to heavy rain in the foothills. Im closing in on 4"
  21. Hurricane Sandy brought snow to the mountains in 2012
  22. Seems like Sally lost some of the tropical moisture connection or was it robbed by some of the thunderstorms that formed?
  23. I'm at 3 now and will probably end up with 3.5 or so. Sally is moving quick now!
