  1. And there aren't enough people that get impacted.
  2. Nothing at all down here. I was expecting a little rain/mix.
  3. That snow machine even got over this way. It snowed for most of the morning and stayed cloudy just about all day. Not as much as you guys got but wintry appeal ruled the day.
  4. Had a very New Englandy evening. Went and bought my wife some new boots for Christmas and then went to the quintessential New England town of Hanover, NH for a Cornell/Dartmouth hockey game. Walking through the town to the rink with fresh snow and cold temps felt old timey New England holiday to me. Oh and for Will and OceanSt. who I believe are both Cornell alums, Dartmouth took down the #2 in the nation Cornell Big Red 2-1.
  5. Flow must be unblocked. Snowing here too. I don’t think it was forecast.
  6. Nice. Is the same one that you had done on your own before? Looks like a nice upgrade. Maybe some of those plastic privacy slats or some artificial hedge braid like this https://www.kohls.com/product/prd-2541094/national-tree-company-instablock-artificial-hedge-fence-braid.jsp?skuid=27725474&ci_mcc=ci&utm_campaign=DECOR&utm_medium=CSE&utm_source=google&utm_product=27725474&CID=shopping15&utm_campaignid=174293612&pid=googleadwords_int&af_channel=CSE&gclid=CjwKCAiA8qLvBRAbEiwAE_ZzPRlGr1bfrV9bg2PRkfNbcgreT3LmCByPZ3SRJBodv9fp8lI_KgVmDhoC_4AQAvD_BwE&gclsrc=aw.ds
  7. Looks like the blocked flow let up a bit. Noticeable snow has started here in downtown MPV in the last few minutes. Small flakes and the roads are getting covered.
  8. Think they get 31" this time?
  9. That radar makes the spine look like an absolute wall lol. Of course for the most part its is this morning. A very light dusting on the car this morning and just a stray flurry here and there on the way in to work.
  10. I can’t remember exactly when my local cable system got TWC but it was like 87 or 88. I remember visiting friends who went to UVM but lived off campus. We got back to their place and I remember passing out on their couch with it on TV. Even in my liquored up, foggy condition I was immediately hooked. Every time I would visit I would turn it on if I had the chance. Watching Local on the 8’s while playing beer pong before hitting the bars. Needless to say, it wasn’t a chick magnet. Lol
  11. Hope everything is ok Gene. At least you are at a top notch facility.
  12. I was pretty surprised. Went to bed to a few flurries, woke up around 3:30 and it looked like the car had been coated but nothing surprising and then woke up to plows going by. Stepped out on the deck that had been cleanly shoveled and poked the tape measure into 4". My colleague who lives in Elmore said Rt. 12 through Worcester Woods was clear until just outside Montpelier. Pretty localized I guess.
  13. Just remember for all the SNE giddiness over the current storm (rightful giddiness, I may add) PF always gets his in the end.
  14. Had 4" on the deck this morning. There was less here at work in Montpelier and a colleague coming in from the Morrisville area said there was reall nothing until she got to just outside Montpelier. I was sort of surprised. It wasn't snowing when I went to bed at 11:00, the forecast didn't call for anything and everything indicated that the storm was starting to crank further east. A little bit of a positive bust for my back yard.
  15. I was in Williston with my son, we went in to Best Buy a little after 5:00 and it was snowing when we came out at 5:30. About 1.5” already here at my place. A little more than I expected this soon.
  16. Nice summation JSpin. November has been a damn wintry month. BTV has been pretty steady with the 4” call for MPV and I’m good with that.
  17. Drove through your area taking the scenic route to the outlets in Tilton. I can confirm not a cloud in the sky. Pretty big waves on Newfound Lake with the wind.
  18. Those are great gatherings. Craft brews, homegrown and pony-o's as far as the eye can see. You should stop in to one sometime.
  19. I went to Germany for vacation this year. The love is returned
  20. JSpin’s hood seems to be the line of demarcation for this event. Just made a Costco run up to Colchester. Left around 12:30, not long after the snow had started here. Roads got covered quickly and almost thought of abandoning the trip but I knew there wouldn’t be much going on as we got closer to the CPV. By the time we got to the Waterbury exit, there was nothing on the road at all and nothing was falling from the sky in Williston, Burlington or Colchester. Same thing in reverse on the way home. Looks like 3” or so of wet, heavy snow and the roads are pretty slick.
  21. Nothing happening here. Looks like there was a little freezing rain overnight as the cars look like there is a glaze on them.
  22. I dunno, the ground had been covered at my house for over a week and we have a WWA up for tomorrow. Not thinking it’s really been a whimper.
