  1. Tired of so much QPF in the winter.
  2. Damn had no idea. Mid-summer here. Just looking at ORH...crazy how they woke up to 76F this morning and then spent the afternoon in the mid-60s. The temperature now is lower than this morning’s dew point. Don’t see that diurnal change often in summer.
  3. I haven’t been paying attention... what are you guys talking about? High in the mid-80s today, hazy and sunny...and it’s a summer evening of 82/63 currently.
  4. The only home invasions seem to be reports of bears breaking through screen doors and tossing kitchens.
  5. Surprisingly big interior heat today... dews were up there too. That hot air from Canada is leaking south again. ALB... 93F BTV... 92F CON... 92F BDL... 92F NYC... 92F IZG... 91F HIE... 90F MVL...89F BML... 89F CAR... 88F MPV... 88F' LEW... 88F TAN... 87F IJD... 88F KORH... 86F KBOS... 85F
  6. Been tropical lately. ULL was a good time. Going to be hot and dry going forward.
  7. It’s an absolute furnace again in Canada relative to normal going forward... just constant high 850s against normal.
  8. Jesus H... you’ve been getting crushed.
  9. Don’t worry, it comes back quick. Three months or less... at the very least even if it’s not snow there’s usually some white riming to look at during that first fall sub-0C H85 air mass.
  10. Had this pop up on social memories... what a wet month June 2013 was, lol. Mansfield had 14.06” that month...that’s almost half an inch of water each day.
  11. Be very glad. We hit 90F today at the ASOS. Looks like BML and BTV have as well.
  12. Also got confirmation that time of death on Winter 2019/20 was yesterday afternoon from Stowe Trail Crew. The final patch of snow has melted. July 1st, a fitting final day.
  13. BML also 88F but dew a touch lower at 66F. NNE torch summer. BDL has a lower heat index than NNE valleys again.
  14. Ha my car is giving me consistent 88-89F around town. MVL 88/70 Thats about as rough as it gets around here.... I’d gladly take the 92/55 days we were getting over this lol. It is crazy as 88-89F would be one of the hottest days of summer in any other year, but this season it’s like #7 or #8, ha.
  15. 86/69 Sneaking in as one of the more uncomfortable afternoons of the season. Guess that's what happens when it rains... it's no longer desert dry in the low levels, ha.
  16. 81/68 Wow is it hot and humid, wasn’t really expecting that.
  17. New England needed this synoptic set-up with a cut off low just spinning pinwheels of moisture around the region. High sun angle and insolation with good surface dew points, under the upper level low... the convection started up almost immediately as the sun reached a certain point each day.
  18. Not a ton here but enough and a ground soaking each day for several days in a row... I'm sure the vegetation enjoyed the frequency. ~1.50" here, the ASOS had more.
  19. Speaking of sweet clouds, had some mammatus for the 2nd or 3rd time in the last 4 days.
  20. I'm on my way. I'll stop at NETA Northampton on the way down I-91.
  21. They were in it longer but the core of that storm looked to wash out right over your fanny. Good to see a solid hit there.
