  1. A month or two worth of rain in like 3 hours lol.
  2. ORH with 1.63” and pouring again. Probably finish the day near 2”.
  3. Someone in that area had to get crushed between both lines. Spencer, MA has just been in it pretty much the whole time it seems too.
  4. That stuff W/NW of ORH is blowing up each scan. Now like 4-5 different cores of 60+ dbz.
  5. Looks like ORH and just north are getting in line for another drenching. Maybe get to 1.5-2” on the day at the ASOS.
  6. Funny how one event will certainly move ORH and BOS down the driest summer list. 1+ inch of rain is probably good for a decent bump down the list actually.
  7. BOS and ORH ASOS both over 1” water. BOS gust to 42mph, ORH to 62mph.
  8. That whole line looks like it’s about to run a train on you.
  9. What a line down the Pike. Thats legit.
  10. Sun came out and MVL went up 9F in 10 minutes, lol. 79F now.
  11. Looks like a pretty good torch. I keep wondering if we’ll break out into it but the clouds are stubborn.
  12. Holy crap it’s 92F at BDL already? Up to 66F at MVL at 1pm.
  13. Yeah I hadn't looked in a bit and was surprised at how close the sun is to coming out despite how murky it still looks outside. Looks like mostly sunny moving in soon though once this last bit in north/central VT moves a few miles east.
  14. It is, ha. Luckily the rain looks to be through now. But been sitting around waiting to get to do anything outside.
  15. Just made it out of the 50s... up to 62F now at 11:15am. Rainy and chilly. This feels a bit like autumn.
  16. Figure out where the tropical storm tracked. August rainfall through the first three weeks.
  17. I've spent many summers driving ATVs and side-by-sides on the mountain, and take those up/down steeper terrain than most people experience... but I've never ridden a dirt bike or motorcycle. Something I wish I at least try in this lifetime, bummed I haven't yet.
  18. Yeah just a continuation of the torch autumn... snuck a lucky storm in there but what a storm. I'm still so jelly of that deformation band. Honestly, one of the most surprising parts of that storm was waking up the next morning and seeing you post pics of like 18"+ with cars buried and all that. That mid-level band got decently far north all things considered.
  19. Fall 2011 style... above normal fall then damaging snowstorm?
  20. Jer rolling into his patient’s eye exams leaning way back and riding low.
  21. As soon as I saw Jerry’s post, I thought of you.... Was like Phin must’ve just had a small stroke on his gorgeous deck .
  22. That’s insane. Louisiana meteorologists, “Expect a chance of hurricanes on Monday and Wednesday, but other than that it’s looking like a decent week overall!” Wonder what that 7-day TV forecast graphic looks like.
  23. A local Albany news station posted this shot of a storm earlier today in Saratoga, NY. Awesome shot by someone.
  24. Reminds me, my father wanted to know what the sprinkler did for watering so put a basic rain gauge in the sprinkler’s path to see what the grass was getting. After two hours of it going back and forth he had like 1/4th of an inch or a tad more of water in it. Ever since then I’ve always thought 0.25-0.33” range is probably the equivalent of running a sprinkler for a couple hours all over your property, lol.
  25. I’d bet it stays above normal in the means straight through winter.... so yeah not a bold call for AN through October. Regardless, averages drop so even above normal won’t be “endless summer.” Theres no way I’d put money on a 3-month period averaging below normal any time of year.
