  1. 75+ million Americans are pretty pleased I think, at least more than half so there’s that too.
  2. Anyone but Trump. Thankful our country barely seems to be pulling its head out of its ass if Biden can beat that guy. Really shows why his approval polls were always so low.
  3. I have to give it to Trump though, I mean he had this playbook running for 6 months. If elected, it’s all good. But the backup plan is voter fraud if he loses and always had been. His legal team had hundreds of lawsuits pre-drafted in the event things started going south and they needed to be deployed. He knew he’d win Election Day months ago but that most mail in votes would heavily favor Dems. They also litigated to not allow early counting of mail in votes so as not to show strong pre-election day numbers for Biden (which is a good idea to not release all those early votes) but then on the flip side if they can’t count them early, it’ll be days afterward to count them. I mean I can’t fault the playbook, he knew what he was doing and is executing it.
  4. You didn’t vote for Biden?! <duck and run>
  5. The polls were wrong but I think some will be saved by all the mail in ballots which everyone knew would be heavily Democratic. Nationally it might not be that far off...some of the state polls though, yikes.
  6. Oh man I didn’t see that, thanks for the heads up.
  7. Odd to be driving around with snow on the ground and yet I’m in shorts and t-shirt and the car says it’s 67F.
  8. This really hit it on the head in VT.
  9. He doesn’t lose though. He litigates everything to death that doesn’t go his way, from building permits to debt restructuring. This will be a long legal battle. The one thing I found odd was pivoting from endless voter fraud ramblings to in the same sentence praising all the down ballot wins for Republicans in the House and elsewhere. All of these races are on one physical ballot. If one part is fraud, how is the other part acceptable? One would think he’d be going after all the other races as being just as fraudulent. In this giant conspiracy where the Dems were going to steal elections, they also planned it so they would do so much worse than expected in all other races? Like let’s steal the Presidential election but to throw them off our trail, let’s lose all the other ones?
  10. Yeah I think we could see some delays for sure. It looks mild going forward. And many areas have said they’d like to open when they have more terrain than normal to try and spread people out...so we’ll see how that goes.
  11. Temps of 65-70F have just eviscerated what was left of the snow lol. This morning the satellite shot still had the white in north/central VT. She gone this afternoon. Mountain still has good snow but that's because it's aspect makes it very hard to get sunlight during the max heating of the day. Been in the shade since like 1:30pm lol. But snow is gone everywhere else.
  12. Yeah this is pretty solid. I must be getting old... I loved the snowstorm but I can't say I hate this right now. Should've worn shorts.
  13. ‘16-17 was a big 375” at the 3000ft High Road snow plot on Mansfield. That was actually the biggest winter I measured, in a decade of almost daily personal measurements up there. It’s certainly underrated for powder days in the hills.
  14. Do you want that job? It sounds like signing up for a daily colonoscopy for the next four years.
  15. Danger ahead! Locally in north/central VT, in Montpelier there was like 40 cases in the past two weeks associated with an ice rink/arena (Central VT Memorial Civic Center) that was hosting youth and adult hockey leagues. It can spread just as easily in NNE, but luckily deaths and hospitalizations seem decently lower than back in the spring.
  16. How many people are there in Pittsburg to begin with? That is way far north and rural. Edit: Oh I see you are talking total cases, not percentage of population or rate.
  17. Snow seems to be one of the best fertilizers, ha. Either that or the grass just looks really green when the white blanket melts.
  18. Yeah down to 3” or so here on average (more like 0-6”)...pretty sloppy wet stuff now. South facing yards got torched.
  19. Yeah I agree it’s reasonable. Funny how perfectly this has been forecast by numerous political analysts ahead of time. Trumps been sowing seeds of doubt for months and everything I read basically had this as the progression. If Trump wins, it’s legit. Biden wins, someone cheated. Next we’ll do recounts and lawsuits. I’m all for recounts in any close election if it’s less than 1%.
  20. Maybe they’ll find my last Amazon shipment too, lol.
  21. Yeah we’ve never held an election during a pandemic. I thought most states were clear that it would be days before they count everything upfront. The USPS is finding election mail in distribution centers and stuff like that still. I also didn’t know that like many states have regs that they have till early December to certify the results in their state.
  22. But so many great commercials while watching the Red Sox suck this summer!
  23. 46F and sunny... snow is melting but not very fast. Guess it is an early February sun angle and not April or something.
  24. Yeah, my wife and I have had to pay a lot more the past two years than any time before it. I still haven't figured out why lol. Owed thousands in April when I used to get like a nominal amount back.
  25. Yeah and that’s why I laugh when people say Trump didn’t divide the nation further. He literally divided it so much that more than half our population would vote for anything that wasn’t him, even an inanimate object. It wasn’t policies by any stretch, it’s whenever he opens his mouth or hits a keyboard he loses another voter.
