I mean if I had Type 1 diabetes, HIV, was going through some medical treatments like chemo or other immune system issues I might still have a mask on. Yeah I mean it was all just an ask for public safety. Obviously hospitals aren’t being overwhelmed, the southern US ran a fantastic study for the rest of us, the people who want to get vaccinated can do so at this point pretty freely with no wait time. Its pretty clearly the end time. I don’t see many folks disagreeing at this point. Time to send it at all levels.

It does look like we are right in a gap up here now per 6z EURO... some weak energy to the south and weak energy to the north. Slightly lower heights SE NE compared to NW NE until this evening.

Interesting that the deep layer flow is NW from 850 to 500mb... but the clouds are ending up thickest over the normal "sinking" air spots. Almost like a highly unblocked flow way down wind of the terrain. Nothing over the northern Adirondacks but clouds forming downwind of that zone. Same with nothing really off the Greens down to the west slopes of Berkshires/Taconics.... Northern Whites staying pretty clear too. The usual cloudy suspects on deep NW flow are seeing the most sun today, with the thickest cloud cover the further downwind you get, intriguing. This morning's rise was pretty classic Woke up to frost at 32F early when I let the dog out. A couple hours later my wife has the south facing sliding doors open already. Definitely could see some 40 degree diurnals out there today in SNE. I don't think we'll get warm enough (60s instead of 70s up here). But the morning temp chart's look like a reddit crypto meme "to the moon."

Absolutely. They will go where ever there is food. As more and more places further north bear-proof their dumpsters, they will need to move into new habitats. It's sad in a way, but they are pretty smart creatures that are much larger than they are aggressive. After you are close to them a couple times and they pay you no attention, they feel like deer. There's definitely a fear that they become large raccoons. Can't blame them when humans have all these easily accessible calories in the trash/compost. These millennial bears will do whatever is easiest, crushing the greasy pizza crusts in the trash. The older bears prefer to work hard for their berries and small bites of bland vegetation.

He's such a likeable main character that evolves over time, you really start to pull for him... not an asshole, always trying to do the right thing, respectful, good disposition but also lives on the fringes of society and ethics. Just gets better as it goes on, which is what makes it a great series.

Took me a bit to get into that, but loved it. Wife and I couldn’t stop watching by the 3rd season. Fantastic show.

If you read this thread it’s almost shocking that any of you under the age of 30-35 could possibly be a hard worker, ha. A time honored tradition where older generations think younger generations are full of flaws. Things change, circumstances change... the blame game goes way back, I remember decades ago my now 98 year old grandfather thought my parents generation was worthless and weak because they had so many conveniences and didn’t come of age during a Great Depression. Life was extremely easy for you he always said about Boomers and Gen X... now boomers say it about millennials. I’m sure in 20-30 years we’ll be talking about how useless the Gen Z crew is. It goes on and on.

Haha. Is this something that resulted from an insurance settlement or something? Risk Management and Insurance had to settle one too many slip and falls on spills? So the insurance carrier asked "what are you going to do about it?" and the answer was "we can't have employees everywhere at every time!" So they created an action plan to reduce insurance costs and came up with a robot to detect spills to save some $$$ on the insurance premium, ha. That's what that sounds like to me.

Turning into a nice day as the clouds start to lift and break up. On another note, there are a lot of bookend season snows where the snow level finds the spruce line vs. the hardwoods. It's always interesting to me how nature works that way. The vegetation knows.
