Anytime I see BaltimoreWx post in the LR thread, I always assume its gotta be bad news (or wrong news).

Is BTR still worried about a departing High?

I’m having a Christmas party next Saturday night.  Good thing I can tell people it’ll be mostly clear while a snowstorm hits Columbia, SC.

I was literally typing the same thing.  Looks almost identical.

Good signal on the probabilities maps from the EPS for DC.  >1” snow has 75%+ chance, >3” 55% chance, and >6” 33% chance.  Bullish for 8 days out.

Safe to say the EPS strongly disagrees with the OP GFS’ idea of a cutter.

Exactly, I loved it.  I’d easily take 4” of snow in early December especially considering the last two winters we’ve had.

It's *starting* to behave like you'd expect a pacific would in an El Nino.  I was never a believer that a vortex would set up long term over AK...even if it does, it'll be very short lived.  Good to see the models trending in the right direction.
