I’d be concerned if this thing looked like a sheared out mess...H5 looks better for sure.  A sheared out SW doesn’t seem likely given what we’d expect in a Nino (I think)..

Good signal on the probabilities maps from the EPS for DC.  >1” snow has 75%+ chance, >3” 55% chance, and >6” 33% chance.  Bullish for 8 days out.

Safe to say the EPS strongly disagrees with the OP GFS’ idea of a cutter.
