  1. That actually looks reasonable IMO for the 6” contour from EZF to the MD border.
  2. RGEM looks like its going to keep DC all snow.
  3. ICON has the bullseye between DC and EZF. 6” line just north of DC.
  4. And ~1.25”+ of that is snow on the precip type maps. Wild.
  5. To say the Euro and NAM are worlds apart is an understatement.
  6. Hell yeah love to see the reports from the DC area! Enjoy the snow! White out conditions, with heavy snow and strong winds in this band.
  7. Glad you got in on this! It’s dumping. Time to head into the hot tub to enjoy the dendrites.
  8. What a special place.
  9. So happy I don’t eat oysters. Yuck.
  10. Probabilities bumped up on the northern end and the axis of highest probabilities shifted a bit north too.
  11. I’d love to see the Euro closing off the SW as it passes to our south. Run over run changes does show it slightly deeper which is good.
  12. QPF slightly higher vs 00z too. DC went from 0.45” to 0.55”. All snow.
  13. WPC with Heavy Snow possible for NVA/MD/DC in their Day 3 graphic.
  14. Just took a Jebwalk in SN+. Absolutely beautiful out there. 26 degrees with gusty winds. Estimate about 4” so far.
  15. That back-end ULL snow through DC is a thing of beaut. Basically a two part storm…WAA snow —> sleet —> snizzle —> snow. More snow for DC on the back-end.
  16. I was just going to post that…there’d be several inches+ still to come with this look. But its the NAM yadda yadda.
  17. It’s nice seeing the homepage of weather.gov light up in blues with winter storm watches. All offices west of Pittsburgh’s office have posted their watches. Should see that continue east tonight/tomorrow.
  18. Ever so close…probably sleety/snow mix with snow if rates heavy. This was a good run for us.
  19. Wow, a 5 contour closed s/w at H54 on Pivotal.
  20. Glad y’all had fun! It’s ripping on the cameras there. Hopefully they can finally open more trails now that they fixed their snowmaking too.
