The O's went sweepless the entire season. Every series they won at least 1 game. They haven't been swept in a series since Adley was called up last year.
The Orioles could clinch their first AL East crown in 3,299 days as soon as Wednesday. I wonder if the Rays are going to start resting starters to get ready for the WC series.
Even with an O's loss yesterday, it wasn't as bad with the Rays losing to the Angels. The Rays margin of error is razor thin, and they couldn't afford a loss like that yesterday.
This is what BCPS is doing:
Grades 2-12: Students who attend schools without air conditioning will engage in synchronous virtual (live at home) learning. Schools will implement virtual learning plans and ensure students have access to laptops.
Kindergarten and grade 1: Students will attend school in person on an early release schedule. Their learning spaces will be moved to rooms with air conditioning and City Schools will provide additional cooling support for those classrooms. Transportation and meals will be provided as usual.
Pre-kindergarten: Students who attend schools without air conditioning will engage in asynchronous virtual (at-home) learning. Early learning staff will be available virtually to support these young learners.
I was worried about the O's "playing down" to the Mets. They got a sweep. Only need 1 of those games against Tampa to win the season series and tie breaker (in essence another game in the standings)
Asking prices were insane. The White Sox wanted Holliday for Dylan Cease. The O's apparently made a deal acceptable deal with the Mets, but Verlander wanted to go back to Houston.
