NWS Just issues a WWA for Berks, Lehigh and Upper Bucks counties and increased snow totals to 1" to 3" here in NW Chesco

NBM continues to lower snow totals

Some spots had low temps in the teens this morning across the county including Coatesville Airport, Chester Springs and West Bradford Township with the lowest I could find being the 17 degrees in both Warwick and Nottingham Townships. Here in East Nantmeal the low was 20.2 degrees this was the lowest temp I have recorded since the 9.8 above zero last February 4th. Today will be the calm before the storm tomorrow. Snow should arrive during the noon hour from southwest to northeast across the area and quickly change to freezing rain and then over to plain rain by 4pm. The steadiest rain should end by 11pm or so. Total rain and melted snow could total around an inch. Some snow and rain showers could last for a while on Sunday morning. We should see a nice but chilly Monday before a larger rainstorm arrives on Tuesday. Records for today: High 62 (1950) / Low 7 below zero (1904) / Rain 1.56" (1934) / Snow 3.6" (2003)

If I was forecasting this with maybe 1" to 2" shaved off from ABE southward would be about what I would show....

Sorry Kevin! Me still thinks the streak ends before this month shall pass!! It ain't the last 2 years in my humble opinion!!! Hang in there!!

We saw 9.3" from that one in NW Chesco....

NAM as expected does what it does throws up a NW Chester County through Montgomery County special....

I supect a NAMMING either at 18z or 0Z

Today should be a nice day but will feel colder this PM as winds increase from the NW. Colder tonight and tomorrow with temps struggling to escape the low to mid 30's tomorrow. Snow should arrive by midday on Saturday with the best chance of any minor accumulations before the turn to rain being further west and north across the area. Dry and seasonable to start the new work week but snow looks to arrive again on Tuesday before quickly changing to rain. That storm could be quite impactful with heavy rain and wind across the entire area. Records for today: High 67 (1950) / 3 below zero (1918) / Rain 1.55" (1944) / Snow 4.5" (1905)
