  1. Impressive for sure down where people live. Absolute gobs of lightning with these storms.
  2. I briefly went down to 69 toward the end of the night, but it only lasted a few minutes.
  3. Lots of thunder here from a storm that went up just a couple miles to my SE. Temp fell from 95 to 86 after the gust front blasted through
  4. Pretty cool watching storms initiate at the intersection of the sea breeze and NE propagating outflow boundary
  5. There's really no grandfather clause for that sort of thing? My '88 560SL has lost all climate control, which isn't critical because I only drive it on the best of the best weather days, but I do still have aspirations to get that system working again. Would it just need to be completely retrofitted?
  6. Soared past 80F before 9am. Good old-fashioned scorcher incoming.
  7. Someone will get a downpour on three straight days just by sheer chance and talk about how wet it's been, oblivious to the dust bowl unfolding around them. May the odds be ever in your favor.
  8. Moisture looks very scattered to me until a more distinct shortwave approaches on Friday... and even that's a tenuous signal. I'd expect a pretty dry week for most spots. 93 for the high here, should verify a heat wave without much trouble
  9. Haven't seen a drop here since I posted that. Hopefully something pops up this evening.
  10. Just paint the calipers red, it adds 25 hp.
  11. 3.57" since Friday. Also have just climbed out of the 40s for the first time since 5:30 pm Friday. Post your obs and then let's never speak of this weekend again.
  12. Sunny and low 60s in the late afternoon tomorrow on the NAM. Mud crawl to the grill?
  13. Some people talk about 100-degree heat like it's something that happens more than once or twice a decade outside of EWR
  14. Impressive synoptic rainfall for this time of year. It seems like the heavier rates are sliding to my SE with the fronto axis... the metro should really clean up.
  15. A lot of the biggest "free speech" proselytizers in my life have assumed the roles of covid talk police... really weird. You'd think the biggest gov't control conspiracy in world history would warrant many lifetimes of discourse.
  16. .12" here. Definitely scattered storm coverage... a few places cashed in but they were few and far-between. Soggy holiday weekends are always a bitter pill to swallow. Hopefully it rains like it means it if it's gonna be nasty.
  17. Slow-moving heavy storms just to my north while I enjoy a gentle shower. Ugh.
