Ryne Sandberg died of cancer. Was only 65. As a kid of the 80s, this one hits. Dude was one of the best second baseman.

Cape man, I know it’s been a rough year, but they won 18-0 last night and all the youngins were productive. That said, if I had control over the team, the only roster players I’d be committed to keeping are Holliday, Gunnar, Cowser and Westy. Get what you can for the rest. To give an idea how bad the Os were during April and May, since June 1, they have the same record as the Mets and Phils and are 3 games ahead of the Yankees. And with all that, they are still nowhere near contention for a WC spot.

Was driving east on 32 a bit ago and was able to match up these two cells on radar.

I just went to sit on the deck w a beer and immediately turned around. A beer inside sounds better today! 89/79 at the nearest station.
