Any of the parents hear from their respective daycare facilities? I reached out to the before n after care my daughter attends, and they're at the mercy of the state reopening things. Just hoping these places can survive this, so I dont have to scramble to find a new one.

Re: grading End of year grades as of Q3 will be implemented. Schools are going to see a lot of kids....maybe even an overwhelming number....not completing their tasks for a number of reasons. Teachers, kids, and parents are all in a shitty position. I already recommended to my daughters teachers that they load the weeks worth of assignments at the beginning of the week as opposed to day by day. For starters, seeing the weekly workload on sunday night or monday morning helps with simple planning for the week in the house.

Disney furloughing 40k+ employees Smithfield is closing its largest plant for 2 weeks bc so many people were infected. Over 3k employees. The plant handles 5% of the countries meat supply. Other meat factories in PA and CO temporarily closed.

Re the MD numbers, I'd be very cautious about seeing the decline in new positive cases as a positive. Holiday weekend may limit some return on results. And, there was still a net positive of 126 new hospitalizations.....151 in, 26 out.

Let's not over think and write too much about it.....if taken into practice as suggested, social distancing would help limit spread between families. Pretty much all guidance right now is for folks to limit interaction w people outside their immediate household unless absolutely necessary.
