  1. Serious question......how many of you are truly missing something that's been closed? Haircut? I cut mine. It looks as good as youd get at sport clips Car maintenance? Yes for the big things. I can change my own brakes, oil, filters, plugs, etc. Car wash? No. I'll wash my own. Dentist/Dr? Yes, for general apts. All other places I generally visit have been open the entire time. Grocery store, gas station, restaurants w pick up, spirits, Lowe's/home depot/garden store, bike store.
  2. Omg...so much writing. Save me @mappy
  3. This weather is garbage. No doubt we'll go straight from miserable to torching. Cant have us enjoying a week of 75 and sun.
  4. Yeah, a net of +190 hospitalizations in the last 24 hours. Not good.
  5. Everybody in that pic when hearing the beach is open
  6. I see Northam said May 8th at the earliest for phase 1 in VA.
  7. Hogans guidance is basically nothing new. Not lifting restrictions yet, but possibly entering phase 1 in early May. This thread has the deets.
  8. We continue seeing more food processing plants closing up because of covid. At wegmans this morning I found meat supply to be as such.... Chicken - nothing Ground beef - plentiful Steak - limited Pork - plentiful Ground turkey - plentiful
  9. What's the daily death tally at?
  10. It's all good. At least there are no 2,000 word essays regarding our impending flurry potential. Oh, and nice to see trixie back being her normal self.
  11. Yeah, scary to think about what may happen if we get there. Some parts of the country are already nearing a tipping point to ugly. We dont need this happening.....
  12. Brady, Gronk, and Chris Godwin? Geesh.....
  13. Cant believe how long mappys post was last night. Might be the worst thing in this entire thread
  14. I work in a bldg w about 5000. I suspect we'll just keep teleworking until at least june, if not longer.
  15. I cut my hair and I must say.....I dont see a difference between what I did and great clips. #2 around the sides and back. Clippers to trim the top. Easy and done in about 15 minutes. And, yes, I used a mirror to check the back
  16. Some remain open now for folks that are essential. If the workforce is going to be out there, we will need daycares open. Employers are only going to be understanding to a certain extent.
  17. In MD, I'm guessing many non essential businesses are allowed to open by may 15 while abiding by distancing standards. By then, I see no reason why golf courses couldn't reopen, for example. At this point, is there really a difference between Lowes being open and people going there to buy stuff for house projects vs Dicks sporting goods opening and people going there to buy bikes, workout gear, etc?? Not really. Come june 1, I imagine daycare facilities, movie theaters, etc will be allowed to open while practicing distancing. During each phase we continue to wear masks. Pools reopening seems complicated, but make no doubt, people will go if they do open. Sporting events, concerts, etc are the tricky ones. Like I mentioned a few days ago, how do schools like penn state, ohio state, michigan, alabama, etc host games in the fall w 100,000+ fans in the stands elbow to elbow?
  18. The British open was outright canceled. PGA is in August, US Open in September. Augusta National is closed all summer and doesnt reopen til Fall. November would allow for optimal conditions all things considered.
  19. PGA tour already announced their modified schedule beginning the week of june 11th. The first 4 tourneys will be without fans. Idk what you do about baseball. College football and NFL will be interesting.
