After 11/15 let the cold come. If this weather were December, anger would occur.

From what I read, Tonga tossed water vapor into the stratosphere, and the anomalies were more impressive higher up in the stratosphere vs lower stratosphere. So, there may not be much of a coupling into the troposphere.

Yep, there ya go. It's funny how defensive people get, but if your temp rebounds 20F in two hours from sunrise...it's definitely not a "cold" atmosphere. Like i said, chipmunks in hats and gloves with Timberland boots while the birds are sipping Mai Tai's listening to Zach Brown band.

No, it’s early. I mean if I can save a couple hundred bucks on energy bills from temps that’s not even cold enough to support Snow, I’ll take it.

I love the contrast in lighting. All bright and in the snow for Rocky. Meanwhile Drago’s training is a nice metaphor on our stance with Russia back then. All dark….red shady background lighting….classic.

They are warm in the deep south typically. Usually Ninos are cooler across the south.

It's definitely been the "sexy" topic to discuss since it's received more attn than it should and the weather community was quick to blame GOAK SSTs on certain phenomenon. Even as scientists, we seem to be too trigger happy on putting an easy blame on something.

You're in NJ and have a better chance of a lousy winter in a Nina. So yeah, I'd go warm there too.
