  1. That's an interesting setup with the flow out of the northeast in the mid levels while you have NW flow below 6000ft or so.
  2. I find it funny that they retweeted this other guy from Wilimington who had 23 an change and a 3.2" liquid core. LMAO.
  3. I agree with you and Will about the 6 hrs. It just makes more sense to me with all the reasons stated.
  4. But now you have two different ways to measure snow. The airports who seem to do every 6 hours, and the COOP guys. Ugh.
  5. So many rules are vague. I wish they kept it 6 hrs since so many are used to that. Previous records are based on that.
  6. I thought OceanSt was saying many first order stations clear the board or what have you, every 6 hrs. And what the heck defines intermediate depth measurements? every hr? every 6 hrs?
  7. Don't first order stations clear the board every 6 hrs?
  8. It may not do it justice after settling. Even here at work it settled a bit.
  9. Thing with April 97, is that we had widespread 28-32" final depth. I think that is was amazed me.
  10. That storm was a KU of damage. I thoroughly enjoyed it.
  11. Oh absolutely. In March? Epic. You’ll get yours up there in a crazy stretch. Pretty good winter there despite the several week lull.
  12. The fluff will vaporize in the sun like Ray's engagement after this storm.
  13. Another weenie band. After the subby earlier, it's been a pleasant surprise.
  14. It was different. That was a firehose, a plume of Deep moisture off the atlantic. This snow was the result of synoptic forcing and banding more seen in coastal lows.
  15. Meanwhile Cape got fooked up again. Most of the Cape no power with entire towns out. Extends up to S shore too. The amount of tree damage that area has had since Feb 2013 is unreal.
  16. April 97 and after second thought, perhaps long duration Feb 2015 event for me. Both over 30-33". Definitely runner ups in the U20s. Enjoy it. They are special.
