Like I said. Chipmunks with scarfs and gloves while in the trees, blue jays are sipping Mai Tai’s listening to Zach Brown. I’ve had a light frost while other spots near me had a few.

This area into NE MA probably had some of the driest weather since the late 60s. It was quite the drought for these parts. The reservoirs here are still quite low. The more natural rivers and ponds have finally caught up, but we had communities taking actions they never really took before to help conserve water.

It depends on tree species too. They have a lot of oaks which naturally are a bit later too. Compare that to Norway maples which start mid April in many areas.

Well the toughing gets replaced by ridging in AK so that looks like a change to me. Also, nobody cares about Eurasian snow cover any more. I don't care if the snowpack extending into Beijing, it means jack dick to me.

These past 4 days were brutal. Coincidentally, I heard Alice In Chains "Nutshell" one of their greatest songs ever.....but as I looked out into the pea soup fog, it made me want to sit back with a needle in my arm. A terrible stretch of wx.

It's more your classic Nina look now for the time being. However, piggy is gone at the end of the ensembles....but it's too early for Canada to be refrigerated and have that ooze into the NE US. If this holds, I would expect that to rapidly occur in early December.
