  1. I enjoy the wind aspect. It just adds to the tempest appeal. Sure maybe it costs me a few inches compared to what I’d measure if winds were less, but I love a good storm.
  2. You’re talking two events that IMO are lower prob. Not worth getting worked up if they don’t work out.
  3. The thing about windy storms, is that you don’t have a lot of compaction the next day. I realize that I absolutely cannot stand seeing a softly fallen snow compact to half its depth in eight hours. The worst is when you see those lines on the fence where the snow was and then where it is currently. That just makes me angry.
  4. That was March 2019. Last year was your favorite. Deformation white out blown all over lol.
  5. It’s some of the best I’ve ever seen. Barely any wind.
  6. Feb 7 2003 was a real good short term bust too. 2-4” turned into 16”.
  7. Mine says 0.0 must have poop? Other gauge was about .9 eyeballing.
  8. Reservoirs still showing signs of stein around here. Believe it or not lol.
  9. He’s been finding rain and misses since 2013.
  10. I can’t stop laughing picturing him there.
  11. Regarding the 12th, that's some strong CAA at like 925 from the northeast. Love to see it.
  12. I don't want that to weaken much. This pattern coming up does not look like a suppression pattern...so I think we need the Atlantic to help make sure we don't have any lows ride up our fannies.
  13. Getting both suites to finally agree is huge.
  14. Yeah, no issues verbatim. For selfish reasons I like it because it allows for a bit more cold to work into the picture around here and that's needed in December.
  15. Pretty good coupling too at 50mb. Always like seeing that for stability.
  16. Having it a bit east of 135E is good IIRC for baked AK. Anyways that's just one piece of the puzzle. I do like the higher heights hanging around to our north like Will mentioned.
  17. My guess is a Rockies trough looks good in the extended and the AK ridge should hold, maybe eventually retro west a tad? But if we can get poleward ridging that will help. Forcing supports somewhat of a Nina look. .
  18. One leg in, the other watching out to make sure this trough doesn't shift west.
  19. Kind of a SWFE look with undertones of overrunning or redevelopers with Rockies trough.
  20. We'll take the EPS and GEFS after the 14th.
  21. I think the retro helps lock in colder air on the backside though.
