    It's basically a follow up wave that is tapping into a temp gradient that exists in the mid levels of the atmosphere. The original low does not sweep the gradient offshore from deep cold air advection.

    You do have a negatively tilted H5 trough which is a must for these.

    Well nothing is 0% this far out, but I'd say liquid is a greater concern vs a whiff.

    He might have misinterpreted what I said then. I was stating what the euro had or what the potential was, when he made that comment. No complaints this early in the season. Hopefully next weekend doesn't cut.

    I'm not a QPF Queen though. There is only one Queen in that land. The only Queens are the ones that don't want to hear about unfavorable patterns.
