  1. While I do enjoy the sound and look of crisp snow underneath your feet, I think having the bare look there is much better than awful salt and sand spread all over the place and looking like crap. I don’t have a big problem with the bare look. I can’t stand salt and sand....it gets everywhere and is a massive pita.
  2. In true anal-frontal fashion, models are meh tomorrow.
  3. Let’s see the obligatory parking lot pic.
  4. Exit 18/mile marker 50 is usually the weenie line.
  5. Well given how early in the season it is, it may get hostile enough so that we don’t have a snowy look. But to me, it’s not a torch at all.
  6. Could be a real mess up where you are.
  7. Yeah. NAM shows that. I’m also hearing parakeets and bengal tigers for temps tonight and tomorrow morning. I may sell that pike north.
  8. So to summarize, people are getting angst from a relaxation of record cold in early to mid November?
  9. Oh yeah, not trying to contradict. I know the 11-15 day on the EPS isn't readily available, so just wanted to add that bit of information. Yeah we'll certainly moderate, as the block weakens a bit. I am encouraged at least to see some ridging into Greenland. If we can get the Pacific to reload a tad, that could be interesting late month or perhaps into December.
  10. Big difference from the GEFS and EPS. The EPS is not nearly as ugly as the GEFS. The GEFS have low heights from the Bering Sea to the west coast. The EPS has more ridging in the EPO/PNA region. We definitely will relax with the -EPO that we have now, but the EPS certainly are less hostile.
  11. Good chance of a coating I think even there. I mean maybe it dries out in all areas and it's just flakes...that can happen. But I think we have some support for a couple of hours of snow.
  12. Well seems like a lot of us end as snow tomorrow. I think Kev has a good shot of 1-2 along with Hubby Dave. Rest seems like C-1"or so. Small chance SE areas may get clipped with an enhancement from the south. HREF sort of shows this.
  13. Looks like squalls heading to VT with cold front. Going to look like deep winter by Tuesday morning with a good pack. I haven’t looked at the physics with snow growth, but even if it’s not fluff, it should have decent water content I think until the arctic air really moves in and it cools off aloft.
  14. A nice hug in the softly falling snow may be what the doctor ordered.
  15. He’s definitely bitter and angry about something we did before he left for a 8yr hiatus.
  16. I don’t see a negative PNA. The ridging stays more in the EPO region, but it will relax a tad.
  17. Jesus H. It’s snowing where it’s favored for the time of year.
  18. Yeah I was agreeing. Was just saying that regardless of pattern it’s doing what it should more or less.
  19. It’s early November. It’s favoring where it should be favored.
