  1. Josh and everyone in that whole school went through absolute hell. As you saw from pictures, everything is completely smashed there. Knowing Josh, he’s probably helping out. Frankly, he probably can’t really even find a way to get home right now. He’s done this before, and I’m sure he’s OK. Are we really surprised we have not heard from him by now given what we‘ve seen?
  2. 6z EPS nudged west. Probably not much of anything NW of the Cape, but it wouldn't take much for decent rains and 40mph winds in ern areas. The key for us, is the s/w diving in from the Canadian Plains. Need that to dive south an sharpen.
  3. Euro was closer. Some rain and wind ern areas.
  4. Gloria was pretty good. At least we got on the east side of it. No power for a few days.
  5. Gfs is quite a storm here. Not sure I buy that.
  6. September is fine. It can grow in November even.
  7. You should always have a plan living on the EC. That’s a given. But as john said, even if the gfs is right...:I don’t see something where a significant tropical system will cause widespread issues that some here are worried about.
  8. It’s not similar. I shouldn’t have to go into details why.
  9. Give it up guys. Next week is out to sea.
  10. Next week will only possibly give a rain chance. Flow is not enough to bring something into SNE.
  11. He's terrible. I can nail a winter if I say minus this storm or that storm. I've seen his tweets and forecasts.
  12. Non existent for SNE this year. Like most years. Doesn’t look like a pattern conducive for a SNE hit or even glance.
  13. Thanks Bob. Maybe it's old wood. If it dies back, not sure what I can do. Sounds like no way of preventing that?
  14. Question about hydrangea. For some reason ours has not had any real blooms since we planted them a few years ago. Does anyone no why? I did read they should get morning sun and aftn shade and mine sort of get the opposite. Is it possible they are not in the correct "zone" for temperatures? I have no idea what kind these are.
  15. This has been as green as my lawn has looked so late in the season. While not the extreme lush green like early June, looks great overall. It seems like I lost some of the red thread which is good. Lots of mushrooms though. Will throw on another application before the rain Friday.
  16. Red thread is alive and well. Hopefully we get some dry days.
  17. Looks good. Thank Christ you don't do the orange-red nonsense.
  18. Anybody else notice that flowering plants, like dogwoods roses etc. look absolutely amazing this year? Wow.
