  1. Could be, or it could be a period where we are just perhaps a little AN during the "snowy" winters...and not getting 80-100". Regression can take many different forms.
  2. It's not done. Looks like pretty good heat ridge across nrn tier of CONUS in early September.
  3. Holy waterspout yesterday in Bourne near the west end of the canal. Borderline stove pipe. That has to be one of the most impressive spouts you'll see around here.
  4. I have half that. Maybe less. You’re fine.
  5. Pretty much, although that was bad luck there.
  6. Hell of a storm in Buzzards Bay. Nice wind sig earlier.
  7. We have the tools now that we did not have that allows us to count storms in the middle of nowhere as tropical or sun tropical. It defintely has helped us. Before we would need to rely on ship reports but now..:no need. It’s not like it would boost the counts by 7 or 8 storms, but it’s possible at least 1-2 in a season (maybe some never) would be missed. That’s still significant. This is from pros that I have talked to.
  8. That outflow just ignited those storms. Classic setup for SE MA
  9. You guys want rain you got it. Congrats on flooding.
  10. Gonna be a little choo choo action in srn areas.
  11. Some pretty good flooding in the Marshfield/Hanover area.
  12. Missed by literally a mile. We water later I guess.
  13. Can't wait until tomorrow. U60s with gusty NE winds. AAAHHHHHHHHH.
  14. No. It's why I caution those when viewing graphics and charts about tropical cyclone and tornado numbers from 20 yrs ago and beyond. It's almost apples to oranges compared to now, especially tornadoes. The tools we have now for tropical cyclones and helping us decide when to call one a TS vs a STS are far and away more useful now then even 10-15 yrs ago.
