  1. Sorry, yeah meant here. But you guys are in the mix for strong gusts.
  2. Half inch of rain. Man back in the days when we had cold, this radar look would have dropped 1-3” of fluff with that NE flow.
  3. It came a little east but maintained a strong LLJ. Goes nuts here to Maine. Going to be a 2-3hr window for nrn ORH county for anything meaningful verbatim. But the timing on the hi res stuff has varied.
  4. We’ve had plenty at night but can always use that extra boost from daytime heating.
  5. 13-14 was good for them with an EPO. They can do it with a more active srn stream and +PNA. But part of the problem with a +PNA for them is if we see a more active nrn stream. That usually skunks them of moisture and can warm them up if it tracks off of NJ. In theory they’d want some serious blocking to help present that. It has become harder for them to snow as we warm. The Pacific pattern hasn’t helped either recently.
  6. Most fine lines are unimpressive agree. Sometimes you can get them to work ahead of it though. but yeah timing in the evening doesn’t help though.
  7. What is the context of this? And yeah EPO is overrated imo when it comes to snow. Maybe if it overlaps some with the PNA domain.
  8. Feels like Groundhog day again for the third December in a row with Mark on north talking snow obs and the rest of us playing with ourselves.
  9. Unless there are a lot of showers to keep temps in check, this looks like a good setup there. At least for now.
  10. 97kts kissing ptown a few hours later.
  11. Ignoring the clown wind maps, the NAM is impressive in its own right.
  12. Probably being conservative for now. 48 hrs+ out is pretty good for a watch.
  13. A couple of more days to solidify something 280 hours out. WTF. This field is getting stupid now.
  14. I think it may be tough to scour out the cold there? Truthfully, I'm not totally familiar with the wind climo there. If you can get into the 50s, probably gusts 35-40.
  15. I think the impact is more for traveling vs anything like 2008. That won't happen, but slippery travel could.
  16. Now that I am averaging more rain than snow, it's what we do.
  17. Yeah we shouldn't overlook that aspect of this whole thing. Could get quite icy in ORH county and even interior NE MA.
  18. It does have the look of possibly sneaking something in if well timed.
