  1. Well 17-18 was a great year. All I'm saying is that it's the same ole shit. We need a massive PAC shake up. It's the same crushing feeling looking at guidance for 3 years now, but to add to it, we some good cold this month, but failed to capitalize aside from areas of CT to ORH county.
  2. You had an excellent event last season and many other events that exceeded me back to 2018.
  3. We just all hope Ray's 40" January occurs. We just don't know. Could be 10", could be 60".
  4. Haven't had a 4" storm in almost 3 years, but I know it's awful getting 15" instead of 22".
  5. NAM is pretty intense with the LLJ. Maybe a tad slower and west.
  6. The problem is that it is not a classic Aleutian trough. Looping the ensembles, you can see we have low heights over the Bering Sea and at times a s/w trough kicks out and breaks down the western NAMR creating a Chinook type flow. Meanwhile, the PV retreats north. That is not a good recipe for us. Yes at times the ridge spikes so maybe you have a shot at something well timed, but it's another example of a turd in the punch bowl which is a recent issue for us.
  7. This is why Sandbar Scooter has formed since 2022. Not a care in the world when the southern wind sings again an island lullaby. Fortunately the warm season continues to lengthen.
  8. Then again looking at temp anomalies, it’s puke worthy. Santa comes in and brings the torch.
  9. All kidding aside it’s not abysmal, just not thrilled with it. We could get lucky and sneak something in I suppose.
  10. No, it’s not over, but your area Kevin may not get the best winds. As Wolfie says, we’ll see what 12z says.
  11. Still don’t like the WPO area going forward. Need a deeper and further south Aleutian trough.
  12. Some of the guidance is a little weaker and further east with the LLJ. Got to watch that trend.
