  1. I was in Dorchester in Feb ‘13 and it came darn close. That was deep. I think I had like 28.5” or so iirc but it just gets so tough when you have wind. Everything was wind blown except for a few spots, but that was a doozy there.
  2. And that weird crescent shape low wind area is the hrrr analysis of snowpack I think. Probably over analyzing as that snow is gonzo inside 495 tonight.
  3. This is not Isis. That was a tropical system. This is just a synoptic event. It’s going to be fairly widespread. Best gusts just inland from south coast I think. Might even have some weak daytime heating by a degree or two further east.
  4. HRRR has some weird artifacts with that map. Should be more smooth-like not some mysterious low pocket of winds near BOS.
  5. 0-3KM? I didn’t loo to be honest, but are you sure?
  6. I don’t know if I’d feel comfortable mentioning 75mph.
  7. Oh we enjoy his posts and diligence with data. I like when he drops the sarcasm.
  8. Yep we love all. Not sure how Jspin feels about us though.
  9. Tensions running high in the North Country. Hate to see it.
  10. That was a joke. You guys have no sense of humor.
  11. This looks a lot better than last year did at this time. Not even close. Sure maybe we roll snake eyes, but this isn’t last year. I already enjoy this year better. A great Halloween and a big snow with no Ptype issues. A win.
  12. I think the second one had thunder. Not as windy. The last one was just as bad as the first one. Lots of damage. Cutters of yore.
  13. There were 3 cutters. Blue hills gusted between 80-92 or so. I think strongest winds was the first one. I had a birch uproot with 2’ of snow still. One of the top cutters. I was at stop and shop outside doing carriages at the time. There were power flashes, signs ripping apart, and an old lady blew over right in front of me. I won’t forget that.
  14. That's an interior ice event on the Canadian. Still time for a SWFE look in New England.
  15. And as quick as he gets it, he loses it which is his home state's
  16. Doesn’t matter. I went years without seeing a 12” storm in the 80s and early 90s.
  17. We are due for dull. We’ve had a lot of record events.
