We had a good amount damage to Norway’s in this snow. I had to laugh at the comments of two neighbors in our neighborhood FB group about how much they hate them. In contrast I saw limited oak damage. I just love when the Norway’s get slaughtered like that. That species just sucks.

So there are times where a west based -NAO may lead to huggers, but I think overall we certainly do want a -NAO for the big boys. A lot of our major snow events have had some serious blocking. Anywhere from DC to BOS wants blocking.
One nice thing about the torch start, is the great weather for outdoor activities like get togethers. I don’t know about anybody else, but hoping to take advantage of that before the shit hits the fan.
I noticed the same exact thing. We did the baggy thing on the clothes line. Most others had tables at the end of the driveway. Lots of full sizes candy bars.
It seemed like it was business as usual in my hood. I didn’t notice a big reduction, but we all made sure we did it safely and I think parents just wanted to try and make sure the kids could have fun.
