  1. That had a better airmass. Hell 10/30 did too.
  2. It definitely was quick. Meanwhile claws on the deck for us on Saturday.
  3. Euro still pretty meh in the icing in SNE. Maybe some glaze near Dave? It’s warm.
  4. Canadian also seems pretty good with where the ice and snow I envision would be. Hopefully some decent snows up north.
  5. Maybe Ray for once will benefit with latitude. Might be some snow to start.
  6. Honestly that’s getting annoying. If I had a bias, I wouldn’t have a job.
  7. Sure more ice in BDR than ORH. The clownest of clown maps. Tossed.
  8. Two different things. Verbatim any model showing that would be rain. But, if you think it’s colder than actuality, sure whatever you think. Don’t forget gfs loves to be too cold in SWFE. Respect the warm tongue.
  9. That’s rain. Way too thick of an above freezing column.
  10. I feel like it will in this setup for sure. Although you always seem to do well in your CAD den lol.
  11. I think the 12z gfs sort of fits what I was thinking. Looks fairly icy western MA (maybe NW CT) into hubby land and NH. Areas south of there get a a little ice and sleet, but doesn’t seem to last long. Maybe central NH on north can get some plowable snow?
  12. Oh it’s meh here, but I wasn’t being specific for here. I think the area for anything interesting is definitely ORH county on north. I guess define that? Maybe the chance of more than .25” ice and some snow? I don’t always look for the weenie solutions. I recognize it could be colder and snowier. My job isn’t to sit back and call for every possibility and focus on the wintry solutions because it appeases the AmWx audience. I’m looking at what seems to be most realistic at this time. Of course it could trend cooler, but I don’t think my thoughts have changed much since yesterday. Definitely looks more interesting where you are.
  13. Your first sentence, we tried to tell him.
  14. HubbDave is SNE. I didn’t say not interesting for SNE. I said south of pike. I guess define interesting?
  15. I honestly think you guys are misconstruing what people are saying. Some are talking big picture. Maybe that’s what Walt was doing. I’m not going head to head with anyone. Just don’t see it as a big deal in SNE, especially south of pike. Probably gets to be a bigger deal quickly when you get to where Hubby is on north. I don’t think my interpretation is unreasonable.
  16. Well I said south of the pike. It looks more icy north where HubbDave is. They’ll be some snow and/or ice to start probably south of pike, but I don’t see anything exciting yet. It’s colder than it looked yesterday, but put me in the category of yawn.
  17. I mean the overall look. Just real shitty. If the 4th works out consider it luck. Pattern is rather ugly. Maybe we find a weenie in the haystack.
  18. It doesn’t look like a big deal south of the pike imo. As soon as the cold comes in, the high retreats and flow turns more easterly.
  19. Pretty much. EPS looks like a little snow or ice to start and then mostly cold rain. Does look icy in CNE and north.
