Modeling seems fine. Seems like EPS tries to shift AK block west a bit, but lots of cold in Canada. Nothing exciting prior to the 20th.

I used to get into the AAM and Mt Torque stuff, but honestly ensemble guidance are good enough. I follow the EPS MJO stuff and that’s about it.

As we always say, just follow the EPS. You can’t take day 8+ op storms seriously. GFS or Euro. I still only look at the EPS long range. Never look at GEFS.
