    Yeah sometimes a decent difference from near downtown Newburyport to 95. I know in the 2008 ice storm near the shore had nothing vs destruction a few miles west.

    Yeah peaked in the forest there in Brimfield and Monson. Monster stove pipe and arguable wedge. Crazy.

    Assuming you were in Cambridge? Yeah we had nasty storms in the morning. That was the EML moving in. That night was the most prolific night show I can remember. CGs like War of the Worlds. Knocked out the power and ended up listening to the Bruins in the Stanley Cup Finals by radio. An old coworker is an avid storm chaser and he said that was Plains lightning. Just constant strobes.

    Torch cometh for several days starting this weekend. Especially Sunday. Should cool off later next week.

    My friend in Windham had about 2”. You sure 3”?

    Yeah that area had a narrow band of higher totals. But 4.5” seems high compared to others. Maybe testing out the hoses?

    Definitely much needed. The timing was terrible. Ruined the weekend. I guess I don’t need to water for awhile so that’s good. LOL.

    We go to the Cape in August. Specifically Brewster. It’s warm and humid and the bay side is bath water. It’s an epic time to go.
