My own personal mindset on the upcoming pattern: Unfortunately I missed the dueling 2010 beasts. Damn kids and the Disney World trip! LOL. I remember being on my BlackBerry (while waiting in line for Its a Small World) scrolling our forums and just dying inside as the excitement level was off the charts. We got home the end of that week to see the apocalyptic snow bombs that went off. Thank god my neighbors shoveled us a walkway to my house. It was effing nuts. Anyway—the point of my dumb story—I’ve been saying and praying since then that I hoped to get a second chance to live that all over again. So I’m rooting for dueling HECS damn it! That’s it. The storm on Friday looks nuts! Too bad it’s a swing and a miss. However—wouldn’t take much for it to pull back towards the coast and crush us.

Hour 156 of GFS (next Friday) goes from sunny and cold (18z) to monster storm off the coast. Not a storm for us per se….yet. ETA: Cat 3? LOLz.

It’s Friday and we just had a great winter week. Nothing but fun and love…and beers.

Last night was a blast! Jebwalking for 2 hours with my daughters before and during that “Pantera” snow band. Lol. Heaviest snow I’ve seen for sure since 2016. This one was extra special though. A champagne powder pummeling is not something we see a lot of in the DMV. It piled up in a heartbeat. Finished with 4.5” (once the snow hole collapsed). Already pumped for the next one. Let’s go!!

We could all be above climo (with some luck) in the next 2 weeks. If that were to happen, I’m just eyeing February up as a gravy month.

Just on the beginning of the band and it’s the heaviest I’ve seen since 2016. Just a straight beat down!

Jebwalking with my 2 daughters. Have taught them well! It’s pummeling out here now and that crazy band not even here yet. We are definitely waiting for that bad boy to come.
