Are my eyes deceiving me or is that squall line weakening as it moves east?

So far, Penn Dot is keeping ahead of it here as roads are mostly wet. Sitting at 34 degrees is helping. Trying to get as many loads as I can. If the roads totally cave, I can't run these permitted overweight loads.

Snowing in Allentown at my delivery, but just wet so far. Other driver called me and said 309 over Blue Mountain is snow covered already. Gonna be a fun ride back up empty and light...

It will be interesting to see what that line produces here, and when it'll hit. Hopefully it happens when I'm loading or unloading, and not while I'm driving.

Nothing at all here yet. 1:30am. Feels warm this morning at 34 degrees. Wind calm at the moment as well.

So is the squall line crazy early, or do we still see that later? NWS has it blowing through Schuylkill County between 4am and 7am tomorrow morning.

Radar shows snow east to west across the region. Anyone seeing anything yet?

Too far north. But then again, even if it was a slider off the coast of Georgia, by go time it would still end up being a cutter through Chicago.

I'm a heat miser at heart, but since it seems that wherever I am, so too shall the cold be, I figured I'd start this one. Hopefully my return brings good fortune for the winter warlocks in our region. And go...

Coldest morning so far at 16 degrees... I guess it's now sucky season on the water haul. Now we deal with frozen valves, caps, and hoses that act more like a solid piece of PVC pipe.

So a cold, sunny Saturday showed up in my forecast for next weekend. That's good for our company Christmas party, but does that mean no storm? 29/17 for the high and low that day, so plenty cold enough.

Warming up pre-sunrise to 22.3 currently, but the low this morning, unless it suddenly drops again, appears to be 20.7 degrees.

The joys of being an early riser for work (1:30am) means my body is tuned for it, and as such, am up on my days off by 4am. At this ungodly weekend hour it's down to 23 in Tamaqua for the coldest morning of the season so far. And the coldest temperature I've felt in over 2 years...

Ah, I see. I thought maybe low like my work location which is usually 5 degrees colder because it's 200ft lower than Tamaqua.

Occasional flurries in Tamaqua. Steadier snow showers in Hazleton. No accumulation though.

Doubt it. We've got the clouds, but the moisture seems to be wrung out of them by the time they get here.

If it can hold together past I-81, I might see some flurries or snow showers later.
