Caught these really vivid sun dogs up in Wilkes-Barre earlier...

So I was taking an empty trailer into Whirlpool in Mechanicsburg and when you stop at the guard house, you have to open the trailer doors so they can make sure it's clean inside. Well the wind was so strong that I was having a hard time swinging it open. I was pushing with all my might when a big gust blew in and started pushing the door back on me. When that happens, you let it go and bail out, or you're going to end up with a broken face. So end result, the door SLAMMED shut, and at the same time my cap blew off my head. I can laugh about it now, but I was pissed at the time.

When you can barely open your truck door, this wind sucks. I've got a great story of what happened to me yesterday that I'll post later.

Ugh...really? Tonight A chance of rain between 8pm and 11pm, then a chance of snow after 11pm. Mostly cloudy, with a low around 29. West wind 6 to 10 mph. Chance of precipitation is 50%. New snow accumulation of less than one inch possible.

It most certainly pleases ME...lol

Of course, no worries. I was actually trucking. Hazleton to Newark NJ to Reading. I had rain over to NJ, then it stopped. Then torrential downpours back across NJ to the PA state line, then it stopped. Ended up with 1.30" for the event in Tamaqua.

So I've been a bit out of the weather loop with being in orientation, but it looks like today is not an all day soaker, but more of a 6 to 8 hour event.

Tomorrow is my first solo day with the new company. As I've mentioned in the past, it always rains or snows when I start a new job.

Thank God no other model shows anything like that and CTP is partly to mostly sunny the entire weekend.

We got 0.14" last night, then nothing today until just a few minutes ago, so we'll have to see what the event total is later.

51.4 currently here. Need to take a ride and enjoy the weather.

Cracked our first 50 of 2025. It's currently 50 after a "so far" high for the day of 51.

It would figure. I got that new job, and that will be my first week. We always get snow when I start a new job in the cold weather months...

How did you get so cold? My low this morning looks to only be 20.

My last measurement was 3/4 inch, but pics I saw from Hazleton looked like even they got between one and two inches.

So I measured an extremely fluffy half inch of snow here. We had decent flake size so there are "air gaps", for lack of a better term, in the snow that lays on the board.

OMG...lol I actually worked with one when I was out in Arizona. He didn't work or drive the truck in any "outfits", but he did do conventions and stuff As for our snow, it's so light that it would take an entire winter to get an inch
