0.07" in the gauge from what I'd call heavy drizzle this morning...

With a very active railroad line less than a football field away from my house, it might be a no go for me as well, if that's true.

That's quite an intriguing weather station. A bit pricey, but if it's accurate, then it's worth it. Mine is due to be replaced (once I have discretionary funds again) and I would definitely consider this one. If you get it, please let us know how it performs.

35 here this morning with frost on the roof of my Jeep...and probably on the vegitation in some outlying areas.

Not much of a drop after my post. This morning's low was the same (37) as yesterday's.

Down to 42 before 11pm. I'm thinking we go colder than last night's 37. CTP thinks so, too, as we now have a frost advisory.

Update on our cat Tiger... The vet is leaning toward a middle/inner ear infection, but if she doesn't resolve in 1-2 weeks, it could be something more like a brain lesion. She gave us an antibiotic to give her. We just have to wait and see...

First, thanks everyone for the good wishes for Tiger. Bubbler, we are at 40 inches for the year, but we haven't had a whole lot over the past few weeks. Isaias was the last heavy rain we had. I know you guys need it more than I do, though.

She goes this evening after the wife gets home from work. Right now, with my left arm "tied up", I can't do much and it usually takes two people to get her into a carrier, so my mother in law is going to help. I'll definitely let you know. As for everyday stuff, she still eats, drinks, uses the litterbox, and wants her treats. Her head is still crooked, but sometimes it's not as bad as Tuesday morning when I took the pic. To keep this weather related, if we don't get some rain soon, cacti might start growing here...lol, although the GFS wants to bring some rain into the area beyond hour 240.

Overnight Euro and this morning's GFS concur. Nothing at all really through at least Sept 26th...

Speaking of sick pets, we woke up to our "Tiger" looking like this. It may be a simple ear infection but could also have been a mild stroke. She goes to the vet on Thursday. The hits just keep coming this year...

Oh my... That looks painful. Hope the doc is wrong.

Are you going to need surgery? My wife did when she tore hers. Hope you mend quickly whichever route you take.

Oh, I hope you don't have a cuff issue. I'm already going crazy being in this sling and I still have 5 weeks to go. Then the real rehab comes after that. I'll make it, but it's a real test of patience and fortitude. Especially if you're an independent person (like me) who doesn't like relying on others for help. Hope whatever's bugging your shoulder is minor and temporary.
