Each place has its rights to do what it wants. This was a local museum.
It does, and as such I also have the right to go elsewhere. To each their own, and I don't and won't criticize those who wear masks, but personally, I'm done with them.

Surprisingly one place in OC MD (last weekend) was requiring all people to wear masks....I told them my mask was in PA and they gave me a blue one. Ha.
I'd have gone to a different establishment.

Definitely a bad time to take a poop.
You know the old saying...
If it's yellow, let it mellow, if it's brown, flush it down.

Surprised at almost 3/4" of rain this morning in Tamaqua. Thought it would be much less...

0.40" currently in Tamaqua. So far, it just seems to be a run of the mill fall rainy day back there.

So current pressure is 986mb and dropping. Looking at mesos and model they all almost initiate and don't drop below 995mb. The NAM drops down to 989mb 8 hours from now. So what happens if this thing makes landfall in the upper 970's or low 980's, which now seems very very likely. That's a 15mb+ difference between ground truth vs models. It seems the the models with stronger LP drove in further west and were slower a day or two ago. Not sure if that still is the same. Regardless. These models are initiationing with pressure significantly higher than reality.

For what it's worth, DT did mention the possibility of her crossing the hurricane threshold immediately prior to landfall.

But how's it smell at the Inner Harbor?
You did notice that his entire post was loaded with innuendos though, right?

I'm out fellas. Heading for some new ink. If i don't get a chance to check in later............enjoy the beach, the whiteout game, the mountain walks, and a hot hairy date in inner harbor
New ink? I'm contemplating that myself. I want to cover up a 30 year old dragon and skull with a half sleeve. Not sure what to get, and am definitely concerned about cost...

i thought earlier this morning, with the way most of my trees have already dropped their leaves, i'd better go home and clean out my gutters
I'd stop by Canderson's house and borrow his wind machine. You'll get it done quicker that way. I heard that thing's so powerful that it even relocates trash cans...

I'm really looking forward to experiencing this storm in Baltimore. My gf is only a few blocks from the harbor. If it's not to hairy, I will walk down to the harbor and shoot a quick video to post when a good band comes in.

There's something to be said about parts of that post, but I'm not going to go there...

Interesting in that what would be a near perfect "up the Susquehanna" track hooks a 90 degree right turn near Baltimore. Glad I live in Arizona or I'd be gnashing my teeth right now...

I'll be at my girl friends in Baltimore this weekend. It's a new and exciting relationship ,so I can predict with 100% accuracy it will be hot and steamy on North Charles St. this weekend.
And you won't care one bit what the weather outside is doing...

Heaviest rain of the the day so far just started up. It’s a good day for a nap.
That's one thing I noticed living out here. Even on boring, do nothing days, I don't have that desire to take an afternoon nap like I did back there. I guess it's the sunshine.

Hopefully our visiting torch loving friend that posts here sometimes will see this Frost Advisory…

Who else here besides me loves a torch?

Crazy up here. Closed 6&11 through Clarks Summit because it was underwater and closed Exit 194 off of 81. I ended the night at 4.69 which fell between 7-10PM.
The WBRE Site has crazy video.
Thanks! The photos looked wild. I'll have to check out the videos.

2.64" was the final for Tamaqua, but did anyone see the photos from Clarks Summit? Simply amazing what it looked like up there last night.

That storm packed at least a rain punch in Tamaqua. At peak intensity, the rate was 5.05" per hour.
1.22" and still raining.

You have received close to 3x the rain we have received here. Not much splitting going on in Tamaqua.
That's because I'm in Phoenix...lol

Storm in Hamburg has eyes on Tamaqua in about a half hour or so if it doesn't do "the split".
