Finished with .09" of rain. Much more towards Lancaster.

Good news Phillies fans! Kimbrel shouldn't be available tonight. :)

    We are!

They talked about his stats last night on TV. As good as he is/was, his career Chase Field numbers suck. For some reason he can't seem to get the job done out here in Phoenix.

42 was my low. Color I don't think will be as good as last year, but we'll know in a week or so.

If color is based upon moisture, then the coal region should be on fire in a week or two. Tamaqua sits at 46.60" right now. There's been no shortage of rain in NEPA over the past few months.

I remember a few times getting like 5-6" in 3 hours before the dreaded pingers and 10 hours of freezing drizzle

Ugh... I remember that all too well. It'd be puking snow, everything so white and peaceful, and cool looking, and then...the mess would begin.

I used to help my buddy do pig roasts for weddings on Saturdays because wedding money has always been insanely stupid good. The amount of fall days I've worked outside with that kind of weather is hilarious

    I believe it.

0.04" for 20 hours, drizzle for an additional 10, socked in clouds for additional 6. We see sun for 20 mins at sunset Sunday night.

I don't have enough fingers and toes to count the times that scenario occurred in my lifetime.

Rain all weekend, then clearing at sunset on Sunday, then a glorious, cloud free Monday.

You're not alone - I was a freshman in high school in Millersville (PA) and was sitting in math class when the teacher came out of nowhere and slapped his hand down on my desk. Scared the living shit out of me. He said "Michael, stop staring out the window...haven't you seen snow before?"

    Jerk move by him.

Similar situation, but the teacher said I'd never make money staring out a window. Little did he know I'd be a truck driver and that I indeed would make my money staring out a window...lol

Flagstaff might be the only place I could live out there and be happy. Elevation helps

It's what makes driving on I-17 so challenging in the winter. You can go from wet to white in less than a mile when you hit the right elevation. Then, it can happen multiple times depending on what elevation the snow level actually is.
