  1. at least I’m going small caliber. not sure shooting the 9mm S&W would be a good idea in the hood, although it would quickly solve the problem.
  2. turns out it was the neighbors chickens. guess I need to lock and load the BB gun.
  3. kicking your ass, as we got lucky with t-storms especially in July. july 4.95 august 2.57 sept 0.37 total 7.89
  4. you’ve got 2x more than me, I’m sitting at 0.37” MTD
  5. birches are dropping leaves like crazy. the maples that started to turn 10 days ago have come and gone, and are now mostly bare. the wind and rain this week is going seriously shorten leaf peeping season
  6. thanks guys. it’s def not chipmunks, they are way too small to do this kind of damage. squirrels are a possibility but I kind of doubt it. I have seen some groundhogs in the area, could be that. size seems about right
  7. what critter would have dug up 2 of my mulch beds? holes were too big to be a skunk, as I’ve only seen them dig smaller holes in the grass. the holes were ~6” deep, right through the mulch into the dirt, throwing the mulch everywhere. Dug right under some of the bushes. would a bear have done that?
  8. No. Orthwein threatened the St Louis move, which is why Kraft bought the team. Then a few years later Kraft threatened to move them to Hartford in order to get a new stadium built.
  9. T&C is actually not too bad all things considered. great place to stay for a snowmobile trip
  10. with good retention please
  11. Those vines will choke your trees in no time.
  12. Do a google search for chipmunk death buckets. they work really well
  13. Usually around 6 weeks, but you’ll likely be fine after 4
  14. What did you use to spread the peat moss?
  15. that event was definitely an interesting one. i was in MHT that day and it was raining with some occassional flakes mixed in. got home and flipped on the Pats game and couldn't believe how hard it was snowing (plus the score!)
  16. we get it. stop posting the same crap over and over and over
  17. well to be fair, the forecasts leading up to the event were in feet, not inches. the TV mets were going bananas.
  18. Our new Dover, NH posters would have loved March 5-6 2001. not sure how much the Dover area got, but not too far west/southwest of them got crushed. the route 101 corridor and south, I think some parts had up to 30". i remember being disappointed that i only got around 2', but I am not exactly sure what i ended up with. i was a younger weenie with no record keeping abilities. that was in the CON area.
  19. i was dressed in full snowmobile clothes (minus the helmet) and was fairly comfy. i chuckled when the beer guy asked me for my ID when buying beer-I was in a full ski mask. I could have been a 12 year old girl for all he knew
  20. i was at that game, it was pretty brutal. tailgating was just silly, beers froze as soon as you opened them, used coolers to keep the beer "warm", salsa froze too
