  1. And a third wave next week on Friday looks warm.. after 3 snow events Saturday overnight Tuesday and Thursday
  2. It’s wave 2 next week.. Sunday Tuesday Thursday coming in hot / an epic run for SNE
  3. GFS amped up for next Tuesday/Wednesday 1-2’ in Mid-Atlantic gets warning snows into CT and SEMASS
  4. Speeding up in time starts in CT between 6-8pm Saturday night.. has the EURO look of a 4 hour thump of heavy snow .. Has a crazy fronto band along mass VT/NH border likely 2-3" per hour rates..
  5. too many nancy's .. RGEM holds serve .. solid 4"+ for all of SNE / CNE would cash in with some mid level magic
  6. Even the south and colder 6z euro has this ending as freezing drizzle in southern CT
  7. I'm honestly not worried.. I like where we stand, hopefully euro and gfs aren't off their rockers and we get a nice steady 4-8"+ , I'd rather be on northern side of the qpf max on a system like this..
  8. lmao - congrats south shore LI .. just imagine if this one whiffs New England .. I actually like having NAM where it is now..
  9. 6z GFS has 4 accumulating snow events across most of the forum in 7 days starting Saturday night.. Impressive
  10. If we get a thick enough glaze on top could be some epic sledding
  11. It's precip distrubution was all wacky, but it was the only model with all sleet by 8am here.. sleet 1/3rd through ct already
  12. 50/50 snow sleet will probably hit 1.5" before the full transition.. EDIT 100% sleet 1.2" total before changeover.. Looking at soundings 3km NAM nailed this earlier warm tongue at 8am for OXC
  13. Wonder if we go to sleet after this heavier batch of snow moves through.. Really cool on radar looks like 45dbz and heavy snow, but it just turned to 3" big flakes wow!! massive
  14. ya vis just dropped finally, probably 90% snow now
  15. .5” big flakes and heavy snow moving in , hoping to hit 1.5” before changeover is complete / snow winning out currently
  16. 6z euro is nice , ticked south with a very heavy 3 hour thump around midnight Saturday night.. the thump has faded in every storm for a few years now let’s see if this one holds.
  17. Class reservation and appt based .. Too late to bring back early morning but I’ll go in mid morning if it’s a bust..
  18. 1z Hrrr very flaccid / Hi res with some pretty wild differences 9-15 hours out
  19. Would just be embarrassing with every school in the state closed and my gym closed tomorrow AM.,
  20. Every damn storm last second hi res throws a wrench at us and sniffs something out . Glad we stayed 1-3” even with some beefy 12z guidance
