  1. Normally we get 50 to 100. Tonight we had 5; all really small and with parents. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  2. Down to 32 and ground is covered! Fortunately my commute from the sunroom to my dining room table office was not impacted!
  3. Down to 33 and all snow. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  4. Dropped from 38 to 35 in about 15 minutes here in Randolph. Still raining but flakes mixing in. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  5. Tons of acorns on the ground here too, and they seem to be falling like bombs this year . . . loud and hard. Need to wear a hat (maybe it should be a helmet) when I am outside grilling. 2020, Attack of the Killer Acorns, why not!
  6. You get a And you get a And you get a and you get a We all get a
  7. Had internet last evening, but woke up to widespread outage in the area this morning. Makes working from home just a bit of a challenge trying to do everything on my phone. Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  8. There are some on Amazon, but they are charging twice normal retail. Have to do some research on the sellers. Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
  9. Thanks. Might try to find a heater, but they are scarce.
  10. Remember it well. Night time storm if I recall correctly. Snowing with temps in the 20s and then the front came thru and we dropped to near zero in less than an hour. Pixie dust blowing everywhere.
  11. Does it work well? We visited friends last night who have one of the taller propane heaters, but we like the look of these better. Trying to prepare for socially distanced patio dinners with friends as it gets cooler.
  12. Is that a propane fire pit under the cover? Profile looks like ones I have been looking at.
  13. Epicosity! Sent from my SM-T510 using Tapatalk
  14. We got lucky here. Counted about 23 rain drops on the patio table! Drought over.
  15. Nice. Is that Bretton Woods? Sent from my SM-A505U using Tapatalk
  16. I was in England 3 years ago when Hurricane Ophelia struck the British Isles. Main impacts were in Ireland and Wales, but did get a bit breezy around Manchester. I also have a vague recollection of another tropical storm or hurricane hitting Portugal or Spain a few years ago, but can't recall when.
  17. Nah, it was Stein Eriksen . . . he started the first ski season thread back on Eastern, or was it WWBB, and there was a snow drought that year.
  18. Low of 48 in the other Randolph. First time in the 40s for me.
  19. Still very active here, but some seem really small even by hummingbird standards.
  20. Has anyone else noticed smoke in the air the last two days? Wondering if it is from the California fires or something local.
  21. Mine too. They were probably the ones who were going. I think the first time I heard Bruce was someone blasting Spirit in the Night or Rosalita out of dorm room window. At least I had the good sense to see him on the Born to Run tour in the fall of 75.
  22. My freshman year at URI. I had seen the posters around campus. Some friends asked me if I wanted to go with them, but I was not a fan of Sha-Na-Na and had never heard of this Springsteen guy . . . and the rest is history.
