I'm still kinda impressed cold fronts are even making it this far south, to die in the Bermuda high graveyard, in mid July. (Un)fortunately if this pattern continues our chances for tropical mischief really increases

It's the most awesome thing to experience! From the 360 sunset to the crescent shadows to the shadow bands to the diamond ring to totality to the wind stopping and reversing to the temp drop and everything in reverse, it's something you will never forget. Yassss!! It was for me too It was already an awesome experience that was enhanced by sharing it with some of the most amazing weather nerds ever

I can not wait for this! It's in April near my birthday, so while I'd love to go hang out with my fellow weather nerd peeps in the midwest or northeast, I'm going to harass Cory in Texas I've been warning him since the last total eclipse @Avdave @Isopycnic @jburns @Fozz Maybe if we all gang up on him he'll let us camp out at his place for the day

What a perfect morning! Woke up to 64 degrees and dewpoints in the 50's. Can't ask for anything better for the south in July

It looks like each person can get 50 points awarded to them from others each day. Mods/admin can give unlimited points per day and take away. There are so many points between each icon that you have to get in order to get to the next level. The amount of points needed goes up each level too. That’s all I got

There's usually a pretty good balance of excellent discussion mixed with some playful banter in here. It's one of the reasons this board has been around for decades. The trolls on the other hand.....sigh Thank you Agreed

I have no idea what I've done to get badges and points If you all are having any issues with the upgrade, please let me know. I know there is trouble with the mobile version missing messages and notifications for some. They're working on the bugs, so hopefully we'll be out of newbie status soon.
