    Yep, and as I'm looking over GFS at 700, it does do just that. Gets close to M/D line, but then scoots NE, but stays south of us. If one toggles through the track of the SLP it looks to bounce around like a yo yo. We'll find out soon enough, but seems wonky to me.

    GFS really wasnt too bad. Here is warmest panel when its go time up here. 700's and 850's. If were gonna pick on to hug....this is it after this panel, wraparound is lifting out and column crashes... Its a nailbiter...still (a little amish slang coming out for my Lanco crew)

    Nam has always had merit w/ some of us and rightfully so. ICON is purely shown for continuity....and fun. I dont know anyone in here that uses it for anymore than that. Fodder for weather chatter...

    Thx....but dont look at Icon...definitely a new trend...and not a good one (out to 69 anyway). 18z arent gonna make many here happy....me thinks. I hope I'm wrong. edit....I'm not wrong. 0-2 so far... almost tried to retrograde at one point. I've been preparing for a westward adjustment, but that was rather notable.

    yeah it SLP still dancing around a bit, but once it got to coast, it also headed straight at us. Cant deny that that trend on some guidance... I wanna toss.....but know better. Someone say we can toss it

    We all need to keep telling ourselves that. All this verbatim analysis is a big big part of the fun, but until we get closer....its just that...fun.

    IMO if we slow it down and 500 stacks....great. Column cools....we snow If we slow down and 500 doesnt capture, it tugs SLP inland screwin up your and my thermals while others are making naked snow angels much guidance has shown 500 tailing behind a bit. that worries me as inland solutions cant be discounted IMO. All the same, we are all close to something pretty nice. Anyone else have a thought/theory?

    Time for a group model hug....K for full discosure and further elimination of any bias, ..I'll post GEPS as it comes out as well. Verbatim panel before, it heads straight at us....sees us w/ swords n shields in hand, and says...hell no..not up for that fight....and heads NW to open water (and safer space than over us).

    Looks like we might have a fight on our hands (like we didnt know that) GEFS is 3ast of op....GEPS west. Thats an eyebrow raiser. GEFS GEPS (and not good IMO)

    Just saw this. If euro goes east a bit, I'd worry a lot less and this would now be an outlier. But we need to see continuation of trends to call this bunk.

    Oops...try this one. Now that it may be getting past the due north phase, we can focus on the precious snow shield to NW and where banding sets up. Verbatim Mag to 2001kx is sittin in the catbird seat.

    Getting there anyway. LP placement makes more sense IMO. Not saying its final solution by any means, but several of us have been thinking this would happen, so at least I'm not alone on the limb. lol Now that the cone looks to be narrowing a bit more....we can start worrying about how much..

    I get ya....but I'd still trade seats w/ you for this one.... Starting to think mix threat will be further mitigated, but still not sure if eliminated yet. That damn SLP coming due north chaps my ass. As of last pic I shared, it has to be the ULL doing the tug a lug in an attempt to stack which pulls it W until it hits the colder dome and heads NE. Thats just me spitballin though.

    Good news is that while the ICON comes at us, it then scoots NE down around DC/Bal area. Mitigates some damage for us LSV'rs. 500LP still taling behind, and not vertically stacked, but would be close enough to be the cuprit for the tucked solutions. Still like the trends with enough time left.
