  1. thats not happenin pal. that sh!t sucks....well maybe the berry might be ok in an extreme pinch...(only tasted, never had a can in my hand. Y'all don't have to think any less of me than you already do...
  2. cant lie....I wore a jacket to work.... go ahead....take your shots at me...I'm a big boy and can take it.
  3. since were talking models........long ones the fly in the drought punch is lurkn....trollin heavy. Place your bets suckas....in 2 runs thats about a 1000 mile jog SE
  4. Split my 5 qds back in March.... yeah splitting when hot sucks for sure.
  5. Yeah, this is rather acceptable. I turned AC off for hopefully the last time (although next week may change that). It has had quite a long run this season...
  6. As its about time to start looking at maps as we approach Autumn, it looks like once beyond next weeks mini warmup, 2m temp anomalies are losing the deep reds and replacing w/ white and shades of blue as we get into the first weekend of Autumn (and beyond). 500 maps on ens guidance dont look too bad either. Not diving in any deeper cause its post 240, but verbatim, I'll sign. Yes, this map was cherry picked for maximum wow factor
  7. Sounds like a great time....win or lose...but lets hope for the win.
  8. I dont have the patience to wait in line, so I always go elsewhere, but my kid and his fiance love it.
  9. Now THATS a place that yo no quiero.....( I dont like). Talk about mystery meat.....
  10. Reminder....many peeps don't have a refined palate and quest only 5 star food/beer venues. For many, coors light is just fine and totally acceptable. I'll not judge them. Hoss's in its day was (and still is) a fantastic value...especially for folks that may not make as much as others, and for them it may be one of a few remaining affordable eat out options...especially as prices continue to blow through the roof. You should feel blessed to be able to refine that pallet of yours buddy boy. BTW, i still owe you a wine glass full of beer
  11. stalled SLP of the coast w/ NE flow. If it were winter....this'd be a storm we'd dream about.
  12. Im tellin ya... I'm blaming @Voyagerand his precip shield also trying to relocate.
  13. .54 here in akron. Looks like the voyager precip shield has found a new home in his absence. Ship it to Az would ya? I dont want it.
  14. backbuilding out west gives me hope that i wont be seeing dust twisters much longer. saw several during my travels today. Parched.
  15. .11 here. Whoopyfriggindoo.... looks like southern lanco did ok last night tho (as per AM news outlet met Steve Knight). Broke my belt on my JD mower, so I guess I've got time to fix it as grass is shades of brown w/ green highlights....(probably weeds).
  16. You forgot Fred Gadomski. He and Knight were the longest 2 running mets on the show. The next gen has largely taken over (cept for the not hard to look at Marisa Ferger and Jon Nese -one of my favs) comes in from time to time. Still like watching it in the cold months.
  17. we got a 15 min gully washer at home, but nothing more than sprinkles coming due east from Etown. Like I said earlier, it look pretty dry for the foreseeable future, so I hope many get some today, but still looks about as paltry as Thurs did on nooner meso's.
  18. oof. Just peeked at the nooners, and it looks like other than a paltry shower w/ Thurs frontal boundary passage, we may not see a drop of rain through this upcoming fall teaser weekend. While we say hello to the welcome respite, wave goodbye to any gains your semi green lawn has made.
  19. As usual...your responses are well thought and well taken. Last week I saw a crotch rocket doing at least 100 and weaving in n out of traffic. I shake my head and say a prayer for their safety before the laws of average catch up to them. You are correct, bad apples in EVERY bunch. Plenty of car drivers fit that as well. When on a bike, riding defensive is an ABSOLUTE must, or you'll be in trouble. EVERY intersection, every blind turn....etc, etc. While some may question why we do it....if you do it and do it right.....the reward largely outweighs the risk. Ok....sorry to derail....get back to your heat chatter....I'm coping far better than i can remember (losing weight and excersize helping?) Looking forward to turning the calendar and hoping to be back w/ more frequency as I come outta da cave for my favorite time of year. Have a good one gang.
