  1. Nope Still all snow covered. I’m sure some has fallen off a bit but there is still 100% covered. This pic was earlier today out the back
  2. Wife works in Royalston. WCVB Boston was driving through there showing some of the roads and damage
  3. Who the heck started a thread for this pos?
  4. Yeah. That really shit the bed quickly. Hopefully the same happens to the non frozen portion of the festivities.
  5. I’m thinking we have replaced that before. They don’t last forever but aren’t that expensive. The technician said our boiler was in good shape. Cast iron. He’s been servicing it for years
  6. It was the expansion tank. Bladder went. That’s a relief. Better than a new boiler
  7. Yeah... my son (back at school) might float across Narraganset Bay
  8. Hoping it is just a leaky valve... it has slowed considerably. Service tech should be here soon
  9. 23F here... not great. A couple of inches of snow then an 0.75 inch of rain incoming
  10. Might be that. I fiddled around with it a bit. Maybe it is stuck?
  11. It was put in on 1996/97. it has been pretty reliable but getting up there
  12. I’m having our service company come tomorrow. They did a full cleaning etc a month ago. Hope it isn’t too $$$
  13. Yep. Vertical. Some type of pressure release thing I assume?
  14. Anyone have an explanation for this heating system problem: We have an oil fired boiler Power was out for about 20 hours. Got to around 52F inside the house When the power came back on, the heating system came on A little bit later (within an hour) a pipe in the back of the system started discharging water. It is warm/hot water. About a gallon, 1.5 gallons per hour Expansion tank?
  15. Around 9” seems average in my front yard. Not sure I have the materials here to do an accurate w/e. It’s the changes back and forth between snow and rain that make it difficult to deal with. I’m also dealing with water draining from my furnace. That’s never happened to us before
  16. Would a nice dry storm be too much to ask?
  17. We just got power back a few minutes ago as per my spouse. LEt's see how long it lasts this time...
