  1. DT is off his fooking rocker on that map.
  2. Still a lot up in the air. They will expand as necessary this evening or even tomorrow morning.
  3. Don't blame them for being conservative. Marginal temps mean accumulations will be hard to come by. Screw zone and bust potential pretty big on this one as it is with most of these ULLs.
  4. RAH with nice write up tonight. Sounds like they might be upping totals https://forecast.weather.gov/product.php?site=NWS&issuedby=RAH&product=AFD&format=CI&version=1&glossary=0&highlight=off
  5. Robert (WxSouth) honking pretty loud on FB FWIW
  6. I consider Friday the start of the weekend, so weekend rule in effect!
  7. Brandon - what do you think about the NW piedmont triad area?
  8. Yeah NAM treatin me right so far here in the western piedmont
  9. Cut them at least in half when dealing with marginal temps.
  10. Still I have seen that kind of wording before and will sit there and ride 31/32 at my location for a couple more hours than they anticipate.
  11. "everyone" is a big group but I would think anyone north and west of I-85 will see at least a little sleet. But this is predominately a ZR scenario outside of the mtns.
  12. I think we end up with high-end nuisance event for us here in the Triad. My location usually does pretty well with these....depending on the dry slot.
  13. Man, you are usually my western outpost that gives me some hope. Bummer!
  14. Dont rush, we are not going to get much in the triad.
  15. 18z NAM has to be viewed as an outlier at this point but bears watching!
  16. One things for sure. I am done reading "Winter Outlooks" from anyone whether it's a Met or not. It's such a crapshoot and personally don't want to get my hopes up again.
  17. I lived through it. It's real. Had a winter storm warning in Jan 1992 that ended up being a virga storm. But yeah, it was a rough period.
