not ready to embrace this yet, but I wonder if one scenario is a sort of warm swfe where CNE and lower NNE get a burst of 4-8 heavy wet snow, then dry slot and drizzle? That would be a nice set-up for what comes the following couple of weeks.
I’m actually not minding this stretch were in. I do have snow cover and in the woods in particular it really looks like mid winter. But the walking and hiking is great because of the low snow cover and I think we have a lot to look forward to starting sometime late next week for a good stretch and that’ll be great
Man that EPS...not only a west based Nao block but is that a PNA and then a huge EPO ridge? Also doesn’t look super suppressed 50-50 doesn’t look too far south. Looks like a GREAT pattern for many from VA to ME.
Would like to see nam showing something big. I think we need to see a stronger low develop. Meanwhile my wunderground app shows about 55 consecutive hours of snow starting Sunday Eve lol
Exotic solution but hard to believe. NAM does well picking these up so I'd like to see it onboard. I recall yesterday Eps had lots of nw leaning members, let's see if that comes back. Also I suppose we need to see how tonight develops.
