I agree with that 100%. I think the whole white Christmas thing is overblown. But on the other hand could that be because I just had a white Hanukkah?

Those totals from andover, franklin, danbury, newport, springfiels, claremont, even new london, were impressive. They and you maxed that band. 4 miles see if Boscawe n reported 24. I'm on a hill North side of boscawen, closer to that band. My max was 24 depth and yours was 30. Way too exposed and windy up here. I'll go 6" below you. What was your final? 32.8?

looks like we are about done here. I'm gonna call it 28". It might've been 30, but now I have an aspiration lol. I really thought Brian was getting 40. 28 inches in basically 12-13 hours - wow.

My super rates ended about noon. Just pedestrian heavy snow here now. 1-2/hour probably. To be conservative I'm going to lop 5" off your total and call that mine.

Brian is your snow growth as good as mine? I think these are the highest rates of the storm. I’m walking around shoveling every 10 or 15 minutes there’s another inch so I’m pretty sure I’m in a 45 inch an hour range. Binghamton is reporting 41 and you will beat that

that band is awesome eh? think about what the write up and maps of this storm will be. a 30+ band that runs from central PA all the way through NY, across VT, NH and then maybe into ME.

That is most totally awesome!!!!! You can all those little yellow blips that keep feeding in. The GYX discussion is great. 30+ in the "extreme mesoscale band" as it sits, sinks south and moves away. That whole band still has to get past you before it lightens up. 40 is happening.
