  1. Looks like we might under perform. Both the RAP and HRRR only gives us another 1.5-2 inches
  2. 12z RAP/HRRR moves heaviest snow back over Delaware and southern NJ
  3. About 12 miles north of downtown Baltimore.
  4. 1.5 inches. Coming down pretty good here now in 21057
  5. I am surprised Baltimore county didn’t. They have a half day anyways.

  7. Yeah... I ended up with 36 inches here in 2016 from that one.
  8. This and the Maps from 2010... Two 100 year storms within 6 years of each other.
  9. Thank you for this... just as I thought... the ratio start off good... but fade as the winds come in from the east. I looked at the sounds for my area... I am just starting to learn to really read them, but the DGZ doesn't look the best either. I am not trying to be Debbie Downer... I am just trying to analysis all the data available.
  10. The most of the "Heavy Stuff" comes in on Friday... the Temps are supposed to be 30-32
  11. I said the 12Z model run... I believe the Euro starts around 1PM. No other model gets more than 2 to 2.5 inches in the DC/Balt area other than the NAM. Plus... it is going to be fairly light snow... with marginal temperatures. So even if you get that amount... that is not what is going to be actually on the ground.
  12. I believe this is computer generated. Also, remember that the temps are going to marginal, and mostly coming in during the daylight hours. This is going to be a northern tier storm. I think the map looks reasonable. Also, the NAM is on a island by itself with the 12Z run with the amount of snowfall.
  13. Yep... but I do think since they are a half day already... but burn a snow day when it can log onto the computer for an hour.
  14. I also think it is funny that they now get a half day for end of the marking period... Just another reason to give time off. There is no reason for a half day.
  15. They will make it asynchronous learning day I bet. They do not want to burn through another snow day on a half day.
  16. “Warm air” moving in fast. I am still ar 16.9 still 15 miles north of Baltimore.
  17. That is pretty early for a WWA... Most of the time they issue the day before a storm unless they were under a Winter Storm Watch
