    Business trip in ft Lauderdale. Entire sky lit up. I'm weening out and customers are like this is every night all summer . Once maybe twice a summer we get a coastal light show. .

    lots of rain in the spring but nothing like the hailers or microbursts of yore. I can't tell you how many times we got caught on boats as kids. No phones no radar, fishing offshore and by the time you saw cloud tops it was too late.

    My water bill for the summer running my irrigation 3 days a week will be $3k on town water. They've jacked water rates sky high to discourage irrigation. New well is $12-$15k. I can't get the minister of finance to approve this for a green lawn. .

    General observation while in SW connecticut this weekend. Son had a lacrosse tournament in Darien/New Canaan area. Barring the extreme wealth and nearly every home probably having a well, overall its just much greener than Eastern mass. We never get thunderstorms anymore. Tuesdays threat looks like it stops in Worcester as does most threats. Every summer we start off strong in the spring and then it turns into a dust bowl in EMA. Lawns are complete toast here already.
