    It's an acclimation thing (and a cheap bastid thing, too, in my case) - dews under 70 are NBD now. Fan in the window is all I need.

    I lived in Kansas for 13 years and never saw a tornado, nor did any touch down near where I lived. Have had three pretty close to me since I moved to Maine. Plains storms are pretty magnificent to watch roll in though

    Nothing firsthand. One of the local stations said several had overturned on the East End, and there were some photos on various social media

    Yeah, an IG person I follow said they were out on their sailboat in Casco Bay during it. They took down the sails but still almost flipped over.

    Surprised at no mention of what happened in Portland yesterday. Trees uprooted, boats capsized. Unfortunately I was not in town to witness the carnage firsthand
