Yeah. I just got in. Took about 5 hours from Middlebury. My friend said it took 11 hours from Burlington to CT yesterday. Was crazy seeing all the out of state license plates. Tons of people from CA, Oregon, Washington, etc.
If anyone plans on taking 91 there was a bridge being replaced in Massachusetts when I drove up there for skiing Presidents day weekend. On the way back Monday there was a huge delay coming home at that bridge with everyone heading home where it went to 1 lane.
I imagine the traffic there is going to be nuts with people heading south after the eclipse.
Property taxes in VT are outrageous compared to upstate NY. There are going to be huge increases next year in VT property taxes. Have you looked at the property taxes in Manchester and Dover compared to the Albany area?
A new estimate puts the projected average property tax bill increase next year at more than 20%.

Vermont's National Electric Vehicle Infrastructure (NEVI) Planning
The U.S. Department of Transportation’s (DOT) NEVI Formula Program requires the Vermont Agency of Transportation (AOT) to submit an annual EV Infrastructure Deployment Plan (Plan) to the DOT and U.S. Department of Energy (DOE) Joint Office of Energy and Transportation (Joint Office), describing how the state intends to distribute NEVI funds. The submitted plans must be established according to NEVI guidance(PDF).
