When I looked closer it has me getting really wet and snowman getting really white. That's unacceptable so I'm rejecting it entirely.

That was a helluva squall that blew through. It went from warming and sunny to whiteout with swirling strong winds. That was cool. Since then it's been in and out with increasing wind strength.

I've got pretty heavy snow falling now. Even the street was covered quickly.

I've been below freezing a few times but the strawberries and tomatoes just kept going, even this morning there are new flowers on the strawberries! Yesterday I pulled a handful of sungolds and these other mini tomatoes I've had good luck with this year and the last couple of beefsteaks are ripening on the counter now that I picked on Monday. I'm 55 miles north of Times Square.

Kinda looks like some folks might have a slickery drive home from their T-giving activities.

2014 I had 10" the day before T-giving. It figures it's going to rain in the morning, my father-in-law's funeral is a graveside service at 11am in Glendale. It was cold, windy and raw when my dad passed in April and now we get to do it again. Uggh

All 11 drops I got evaporated in minutes

Looks like I went below freezing early this morning for a few minutes, it went to 31°! My growing season continues Tomatoes and strawberries are still flowering and the bees came out to play a little while ago.

With a full host of flying stinging things.

We keep seeing stuck patterns, some just a few weeks but some have been like our recently finished 15 month long wet period. How long will we stay dry?

And I just keep rolling along without getting close to a freeze and with only one or maybe two frosts. I had fresh strawberries on my waffle this morning!

Between the .01 last night and the following 7 hours of fog the things that are still growing got very happy. The lawn is lush, soft and green, the tomatoes and berries are flowering and putting on new fruit and the bees came back Unfortunately so did the mosquitoes 75° with a thin overcast. I'll take it!
